Community Employment

Community Employment is designed to provide individuals with work experience and training opportunities within a community setting. The aim is to help people who have been unemployed to re-enter the active workforce with new skills, confidence and a fresh familiarity to a daily work routine.

 

There are currently six types of Community Employment roles

available within Sunflower Recycling:

• Recycling General Operatives

• Receptionists

• Cleaners

• Drivers

• Driver Assistants

• Green Keepers

All Community Employment employees are expected to participate in training and/or education that will accentuate their employability while working in Sunflower Recycling.

 

Your training plan will help you learn new skills and upskill to a higher level. Each training plan is individually tailored to the participant.
