Sunflower Recycling was established to create employment in Dublin’s Inner City in 1995.

We employ over 50 long-term unemployed people via Community Employment,

Full Time Jobs Initiative and the Social Employment Fund.

Sunflower has a far reaching reputation for the work that we do.

We have also gained recognition for promoting recycling as an option for job creation.

We collect recyclable materials from our customer base which includes several government departments and DIT's along with many well-known retailers and offices.

We also recycle paper, cardboard, polystyrene and clear plastic, with the recent addition of aluminum cans and plastic bottles in conjunction with Repak.

Our collection service is based on each customers individual needs and our customer range includes offices, shops and community groups to name but a few. Collections are brought back to our Shamrock Terrace Depot where they are then sorted, graded and baled.

Sunflower Recycling is a

Social Economy Business.

All profits returned  to the company are solely used for overheads, training and development.
